DISCOVER OUR HISTORY

Anne-Marie and Jean François Quillet, both passionate navigators, discovered the beauty of the caribbean in 1990 whilst sailing a board a Casamance, a catamaran from the Fountain-Pajot shipyard.

They decided in 1991 to buy 3 catamarans and offer them for rental to the growing number of like minded sailing enthusiasts, so that they may share in the beauty of the Caribbean islands including Antigua and St Martin departing from Guadeloupe. And thus was created Corail Caraibes Guadeloupe, their first base.

Anne-Maries desire to enrich the fleet by working with renown French shipyards in this up and coming catamaran cruising market lead her to invest in further vessels from Fountain –Pajot and Lagoon.

Faced with the growing attraction of the Grenadines and an eagerness to provide new and exciting destinations in the southern Caribbean for their flourishing clientele, Anne Marie and Jean François opened their second base in 1996.

Corail Caraibes Martinique was born.

Florence Quillet –Balutaud, like her parents fell in love with sailing around the caribbean and joined the company in 2009. Bringing fresh ideas to open up the availability of the fleet. The navigation should not be reserved for experienced navigators, the idea for personalised, unforgettable holidays available to all was realised in 2012.

Florence diversified the fleet allowing Corail Caraibes to satisfy both sailors and holiday makers in search of comfort, all while preserving the purely french DNA of the company. Catamarans from Nautitech and Neel shipyards intergrated the fleet.
